Alia has been an excellent big sister so far. She loves to help me change Grant's diaper (too bad she can't do it herself) and she'll come pat his back while I'm burping him. If he cries, she'll bring him a toy; she even gives him her special froggy lovey. She used to put things on his head, but now we've taught her to put it at his feet. She says, "There you go, Baby Grant". She'll lay down next to him and say, "Hi little brother. Eyes Open". She has to point out that his eyes are open because we tell her to leave the baby alone when he's sleeping. The only problems that we've had so far is that she can be over enthusiastic about Grant, for example she'll make his chair bounce too vigorously. She also seems to be acting more like a contrary two year old since Grant was born.
