This afternoon we got to go to Rutledge to meet Mrs. Meyer, Alia's kindergarten teacher, and the rest of her class. We dropped off school supplies and then headed to the classroom. She has a locker and her own seat at the desk. Then Mrs. Meyer read a book to the class and the kids painted their hands for a little art project. Next, the parents went to the gym to get the formalities from the principal while the students went to the cafeteria for some cookies and lemonade. We're all so excited to see Alia learn and grow through the next 9 months (one grade at a time). Click the photo for a few more pictures.
