You get what you get

One of the moms Alia and I know has a saying, "You get what you get, and you don't throw a fit". It's a handy little saying and I'm thinking of using it some myself, but I've never used it with Alia before. The other day she was handing out her play cookies, and I requested a chocolate one with sprinkles. She gave me one of the vanilla ones instead, saying "You get what you get, and you don't throw up". Very wise words for life, Alia.
