Alia's first comment upon entering the car after her first day of school was, "That was no fun." I asked if she liked her classmates, and she said yes. I asked if she liked her teacher and she said, "That was the not fun part."
I think Ms Aguirre is growing on her, though. On the next days of school Alia brought back good reports. I think Alia was just upset she didn't have the same teacher as last year.
I couldn't believe that on the second day of school Alia asked me to drop her off at the door, and requested that I not walk in with her. She's so independant!
