This year will be the first year we have our own family Christmas here in Austin, and we've been enjoying getting ready for it. We had a good time picking out a live Christmas tree that we'll plant when the holidays are over to commemorate our first Christmas here and Grant's first Christmas ever. Alia was excited when we got out the Christmas decorations this year, especially when she was reunited with Marc the Moose. Which reminds me that I've been doing this blog for about a year now, because one of the first blogs was a video of Alia dancing with Marc the Moose. Her dancing is cute, but the song does get old really fast. Fortunately there's an off button. Unfortunately, Alia now knows how to turn it back on.
